News, 25/08/2022

As part of the CrAFt international project, which is being launched in the Czech Republic by ČVUT UCEEB in cooperation with the capital city of Prague and Operátor ICT as, cities can apply until September 9, 2022, which, in addition to their ambitions in the field of energy transformation, also on aesthetics and work with residents.

In the current call, we are selecting 70 European cities, including small and medium-sized ones, to share together examples of good practice relevant to Nový Evropský Bauhaus (NEB). Details of the call can be found on the project website CrAFt (Creating Actionable Futures). If you're wondering if it makes sense to sign up, believe me, it does. In addition to cities that are already involved in European networks focused on the Green Deal, some places are also reserved for motivated cities that are not yet part of these networks.

Within the project, our team mainly specializes in supporting cities in mutual sharing of know-how and a better understanding of the organizational learning of their management, from pilot projects to routine practice.

Together with Amsterdam and Bologna, the capital city of Prague belongs to the so-called sandbox cities, which will test how to apply NEB in selected projects and provide feedback on the developed models and tools.

At least 160 NEB innovative models, tools, examples of good practice and manuals for European cities should be created, in the creation of which student interdisciplinary teams will also be involved. The project's outputs will be presented to other cities in the EU through a multimedia "storytelling" campaign.

This project received funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Program under Grant Agreement No. 101056946.
