Nikolaos Skandalos is a physicist (Athens University) with a Masters in Renewable Energy (Heriot-Watt University). In June 2017, he received his doctorate (PhD) in the field of Photovoltaics at the University of Patras. He has actively participated in various research projects dealing with semi-transparent photovoltaics, advanced glazing systems and solar concentrators for PV building integration. In 2017, he joined UCEEB-CVUT in Prague as a postdoctoral fellow working in the field of solar energy use in the built environment.
