The main components of the RECIHLI substrate are sorted building recycle based on brick rubble, which serves as an inorganic, partially water-holding component of the substrate, and biochar based on pyrolyzed sewage sludge, which represents a stable organic component of the substrate. In addition to these components, substrates contain other conventional organic and inorganic components: sand, compost and peat.
