The aim of the development of the intended system of direct use of low-potential and high-potential heat generated in a reciprocating internal combustion engine using partially verified ORC technology is to achieve a reduction in the relative investment requirement of such a system due to the possibility of draining water and oil cooling circuits and an intermediate circuit for heat recovery from exhaust gases. The total transferred waste heat from the ICE to the optimally selected ORC working substance is then further used in the profit of work on the supplemented expander, which assumes an overall increase in the usability of the primary energy source, and thus also a reduction in emissions per unit of electricity produced. This will achieve a relatively simple, affordable and highly efficient natural gas cogeneration unit.
