The goal of the project is to design a functional system that will serve to determine the link between the traffic flow and the behavior of the bridge structure. This system includes the following parts: a subsystem of matching data between two separate systems, a subsystem of tracking the movement of vehicles on the bridge structure, and a subsystem of high-speed weighing (WIM) with direct synchronous integration of the outputs of the sensors of the bridge structure. The outputs obtained from these subsystems will be processed by the designed evaluation software, which will include elements of neural networks and elements of machine learning. To strengthen the applicability in practice, a methodology will be created for the procedures for monitoring and evaluating the behavior of the bridge using the WIM system and for introducing similar systems into operation.
