The goal of the project is to finalize and test and prepare for commercialization a system for the use of waste heat from exhaust gases from gas engines operated at wastewater treatment plants. Compared to current simple flue gas coolers, the prototype unit will produce more electricity and thus reduce the so-called self-consumption of cogeneration gas engines, thereby increasing their electrical efficiency.
