Workshop "Solar collectors and heat pumps - what is the point of their testing and parameters?"

Registration number: 122D22200 7131
Provider: MPO CR – Program EFEKT
Solver: doc. Ing. Tomáš Matuska, Ph.D.
Start: 21.06. 2017
End: 21.06. 2017

Processors of energy assessments, auditors or designers work in the design and evaluation of systems with renewable energy sources with elements such as solar collectors, heat pumps or heat storage tanks using documents from manufacturers that contain the parameters of these devices as a result of a laboratory test. However, they often do not have practical experience in using and adjusting the parameters of laboratory tests to a real environment. The one-day workshop should show the practical background of testing these devices, how to use the parameters in calculations when evaluating energy-saving measures and achieving planned savings, how to convert them to other design conditions, etc. The workshop will include an excursion in the solar laboratory, the heat pump laboratory and the storage laboratory of heat with online monitoring of device tests and interpretation.

The seminar was part of EUSEW Energy Days 2017. Proceedings of the event can be downloaded zde.
