Environmentally effective construction and demolition waste for structures

The project deals with the use of secondary raw materials, mainly waste concrete from construction and demolition waste for the production of concrete elements and structures, usable in transport buildings and infrastructure. One of the goals of the project is to modify the recycling technology in order to achieve the highest quality input material with stable properties and thereby ensure the effective use of all components of recycled waste concrete. After obtaining high-quality waste material, the concrete recipe will be optimized with regard to the properties required for use in concrete elements used in transport structures and infrastructure. After verifying the properties of these elements made of concrete with recycled aggregate in laboratory conditions, the knowledge will gradually be transferred to construction practice. Supporting greater consumption of secondary raw materials from waste is a significant contribution to ensuring sustainable development.
